Hi folks,
I just thought I’d reach out and say Hi! to both present, past and hopefully future clients and hope you are all OK during these weird and not-very-wonderful times. I’d also like to share a few things that you may find interesting and possibly help you meet some of the challenges I know you’re all facing based on what we as coaches are seeing.
If there’s anything in particular you’re interested in, please feel free to get in touch and I’ll pass on what I can. Likewise, if you want to arrange a coaching session, or just chat about one, please do get in touch
Health Warning! there are so many guides, advice forums, health tips etc. out there that it’s hard to figure what’s appropriate for you.
There’s no right or wrong answers so maybe just go with what feels and works best for you personally.
It’s pretty safe to say that from a coaching perspective, there’s no doubt that the Covid pandemic is also generating what could be described as another pandemic – anxiety. This is a global issue and stems in part from our inability, as humans, to control what’s going on. In addition, we’ve been incredibly stressed for over 10 months now so there’s going to be a response. It’s perfectly natural to feel anxious – everyone is.
One way to manage yourself through this is to identify and focus on what you CAN control in your everyday life. This can be as simple as your schedule – make time for that walk, chat etc. Controlling your personal response to situations is another great way of keeping yourself in a good place.
Or perhaps, DON”T listen to the news all the time.
And finally, please don’t be afraid to get professional assistance and help when you feel you need it. Mental health needs as much maintenance as physical health – please don’t neglect it.
